Não sei se alguém viu/leu um artigo sobre os nosso belíssimos Sorraia no Público do dia 10/06. Pois bem, já vai com algum atraso, mas também nunca mais me lembrei. De qualquer forma, fiquei felicíssima quando vi que foi publicado um artigo num jornal sobre uma das nossas raças de cavalos.

Todos sabemos que há para aí muito porco, mas eu prefiro dar-vos a conhecer os que realmente o são (serão? o.o).

Então, nós temos 3 raças de porcos portuguesas! Maravilha hã? Por acaso eu só conhecia uma, a Alentejana. Até lhes acho bastante piada porque quando uma pessoa está no Alentejo e passa por uma herdade ou quinta que tem destes porcos, como andam sempre perto da estrada, os carros passam e só se vê leitõezinhos a fugir por lá fora com a mãe haha Acho imensa piada e acho que até é uma imagem adorável.

Galinhas - Scots Grey

Olá!! Eu não sei se muitos de vocês jogam farmville, mas eu jogo e acho bastante divertido. E para provar que farmville não é uma valente porcaria e podemos realmente aprender com aquilo (se quisermos) dou-vos a conhecer a galinha Scots Grey. Pois é, um dos novos animais que podemos adquirir na quinta virtual. Fiquei mesmo irritada quando percebi que este exemplar não constava da minha lista!
A Scots Grey é originária da Escócia e é na realidade uma galinha ameaçada, em vias de extinção! Vamos ajudá-la! Até é engraçada.

Cavalos de Raça Portuguesa

Olá, de novo!

Após o meu post sobre galinhas, que muitos acharam estúpido, tinha estado a pensar num post sobre ovelhas. Pois bem, esse post está a ser preparado e vai ser sobre ovelhas de raça portuguesa. Durante essa minha investigação, deparei-me com uma raça de cavalo que não conhecia e tenho a dizer que eu ADORO cavalos. Sorraia. Já alguém ouviu falar? O cavalo de raça Sorraia tem origem no sul do país, na região do Coruche, no vale do rio Sorraia (daí o seu nome).
Podem saber mais sobre esta raça que, na minha opinião, é lindíssima, no site da Associação de Criadores do Cavalo Sorraia e noutros sítios na internet. Eu gosto mais de publicar imagens, sempre despertam mais interesse.

Pois é. Este é provavelmente o post mais estúpido que alguma vez vou publicar, mas por alguma razão achei este assunto deveras interessante. Sabiam que as galinhas têm raças? Eu acho que nunca parei muito tempo para pensar sobre o assunto e no fim de semana fui ao Parque Biológico de Gaia, o qual aconselho, e deparei-me com os nomes das raças das galinhas no topo do galinheiro.
